David B. Belling, 83, of Amherst on January 23,2018 after a long illness. David was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church on Old Falls Blvd. in North Tonawanda. He retired from BOCES (Orleans/Niagara) where he was a Vocational Welding Instructor. He owned and operated Expressions in Metal in which he made railings and decorative iron for many churches and homes throughout Western New York. David was Korean Conflict U.S. Navy Veteran (Seabees). Son of the late Carl and Ella Belling. Brother of the late Leona Ohlrich.
Beloved husband of MonaLou Belling (nee Campbell) of Amherst. Loving father of Brenda (William “Jamie”) Mott, David (Claire) Belling and Andrew Belling. Proud grandfather of Michelle (Phillip) Silvestri, Lisa and Ashley Mott. Julie, Jenny and Gavin Belling. Great-grandfather of Jackson Mott and Carson Silvestri. Brother of Carl (Joyce) and Bruce (Carol) Belling. Brother-in-law of Lynn (Janie) Campbell. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and his St. Martin Church Family.
Friends received on Friday January 26, 2018 at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda, 4-8 P.M. Friends invited to St. Martin Lutheran Church on Saturday morning at 10:00 for Memorial Services with Military Honors.
