Obituary for Roy H. Meyers
Roy H. Meyers, 83, on May 10, 2020 of Grand Island, formally North Tonawanda and the Grand Island. Loving husband of JoAnn (nee Horvath) Meyers. Dear father of Griffin (Keely) Meyers of Maple Valley, WA, Leslie B. Brink of Buffalo and the late Steven Meyers. Proud grandfather of Steven, Jennifer, Layton, Sophia, Isabella “Bella”, and Violet. Great-grandfather of two. Brother of Donald (Jane), Nancy (the late Henry) Juliano, the late Joan Normandin and the late Linda Cox. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Roy retired from Local Building Trades as a Tile Finisher. He proudly served in the United States Airforce, stationed in Japan as a member of the Military Police. His big smile and robust laugh, not to mention his crazy sense of humor, will be missed. Roy donated his body to the University of Buffalo to help those who help us. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
