Obituary for Blake Howard Roggow Sr.

Blake Howard Roggow, Sr., died at home in North Tonawanda on May 2, 2020 at age 66 after a long battle with lung disease. Son of the late Dean and Viola (nee McMillen) Roggow. Beloved Husband of Barbara A. (nee Connell) Roggow and the late Felicia M. Roggow. Loving father of Blake H. Roggow, Jr., Karen A. (Adam) Ross, Kelly J. (Andrew) Grzeskowiak, Brian M. (RaeAnne) Roggow and Kimberly B. (Scott) Duscher. Step-father of Nicholas (Addy) Stanton and the late Melissa Stanton.
Proud grandfather of Ericka, Brooke, Brandi, Taylor, Adam, Bella, Ava, Kendall, Maria, Cameron, Dean, the late Gabrielle, Abby, Emma, Megan, Anthony, Max, Isabella, Sloane, Silas, Quinn, and the late Piper. Dear brother of Bonnie Siezega, Janet (the late Terry) Bronschidle, Daniel (Lauren) Roggow. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Blake was the owner of Custom Design Decks in North Tonawanda. He also worked for various contractors in the area. He was a great guy and family man, and his mother said that he was “the best boy in town.” His smile would light up the room. He loved golf, the New York Yankees and fishing for the big ones at Chautauqua Lake.

Because of circumstance beyond our control we will have to meet at a later time to celebrate Blake’s life and remember his humor, his smile and his loving compassion for life. We will let you know when that time comes.
