Obituary for Angeline Niezgoda (Trojanczyk)
Angeline Trojanczyk Niezgoda May 5, 1928 – April 6, 2020
Angeline Niezgoda passed away peacefully on April 6th after a lengthy battle with dementia. Most recently a resident of Northgate Health Care Facility, she grew up in the Black Rock section of Buffalo and made a life with Tony and their four children in North Tonawanda. Alice is fondly remembered as a dedicated Mom and homemaker, nurturing her flower and vegetable gardens, crocheting and knitting, making our Easter outfits and later her cruise wardrobe, volunteering at the library and nursing home, and finally winning on the links at Deerwood and Beaver Island Ladies Golf Leagues. She would always be up for a card game with her grandkids, always a time of fun and laughter.
Alice is survived by children Mike and Cindy Niezgoda, Tom and Mary Niezgoda, Kathy and Rick Emanuelson and MaryEllen and Michael Manuszewski; her grand- and great-grandchildren Kelly (Mike), Madison and Jack Anthony, Jillian (Jonathan), Savannah and Caden Hussar, Emily Niezgoda, Robin Niezgoda, Kristin (Matt) Kohler, Steve (Ashley) Emanuelson, Karin Emanuelson, Eric (Sarah), Chase, Jaxon and Arianna Manuszewski, Julia Manuszewski and Zach Manuszewski; her step grand- and great-grandchildren Jillian (Patrick), Patrick Jr. and Shelby Roberts, Kimberly Baker, William (Kelly), Will, Isaac and Mathew Beatty, Lisa (Jackson), Isaiah, Joslyn and Danya Fox, Jonathon, Guthrie Beatty, Benjamin Beatty. She is also survived by her sister Jane Carter and sisters-in-law Connie Trojanczyk and Lottie Winn, and many nieces and nephews.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Anthony, brothers William Troy and Joseph Trojanczyk and sisters Bernice Nowicki, Regina Cordaro and Wanda Papaj.
The family is sincerely grateful to all the staff at Northgate Health Care for the years of kind, dedicated and excellent care for Alice. Private arrangements are under the care of Brunner Funeral Home, North Tonawanda, NY.
