Obituary for Ricky C. Van Hise
Ricky C. Van Hise, 57, of North Tonawanda died on January 30, 2020 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a courageous battle against cancer. Son of the late Clarence and Gloria Van Hise (Tooke). Loving husband of Diana (nee Hy) Van Hise of North Tonawanda. Loving father of Jamie (Christian) Constantine, Ryan (Haley) Van Hise and Adam (Katie) Van Hise. Proud grandfather of Carter, Spencer and Brinley. Brother of Debbie (Ted) Werth, Wayne (Leslie) Van Hise, Susan (Paul) Salzman, Steven (Joanne) Van Hise and Douglas (Tamara) Van Hise. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and Tilly.
Friends recieved by the family on Monday, February 3, 2020 from 4-7 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda where services will be held at 7:00 p.m that evening.
Ricky worked for Paddock Chevrolet where he was an Auto Technician. He was a 38 year member and Secretary of Active Hose #2 in North Tonawanda. Ricky loved playing drums and played with many local bands. He enjoyed boating, camping and getting away from it all.
The family requests that memorials be made to: ECMC, Jonah Center, 462 Grider St., Buffalo, NY 14215.
