Ann A. Risius, 85, of North Tonawanda on Thursday January 11, 2018 after a short illness. Ann was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church where she sang in the Choir for over 29 years. She was also a member of the alter guild. Ann Graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1950 and for Buffalo State Teacher’s College in 1954. She taught Kindergarten at Col. Payne, Drake and Gilmore Schools for 37 years. After her retirement, she volunteered at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Daughter of the late Jacob C. and Dorothy Risius.

Sister of Mary Louise Aquilina of Lockport. Loving cousin of William (Barbara) Strong. Aunt of James (Cindy) Strong, David Strong and her niece Beverly (Robert) Bertsch. Dear friend of Sharon (Paul) Demers. Also surviving are a niece, three nephews and great-niece and nephews and many friends and former students.

Friends invited to a Memorial Service at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Payne Ave at Tremont St in North Tonawanda on Monday morning at 10:30. Ann will be laid to rest at St. Mark’s Columbarium.
